How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO

The Upgrade is among the most valuable items in Pokemon GO. It lets trainers transform Porygon into Porygon2 and gives them a chance to grow in their Pokedex.

While this item is quite rare, players can locate it by spinning an image disc at a Pokestop, or as a reward for special occasions. What does this item actually do?

Components

Upgrade components are objects that can be slotted into weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools in order to give an additional bonus or effect when the item is utilized. They are an essential component in the crafting process. They can be obtained through salvaging or purchased from vendors. You can also find them as drops, either from enemies or in item spheres. They can be used to upgrade any weapon or armor with an upgrade slot.

To get the highest level of progress in the game, it's essential to use upgrade components to maximize the amount of experience gained from upgrading gear and weapons. Incorporating organic components into an upgraded item will increase its experience multiplier, while mechanical components will reduce it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will enhance the learning experience you get and allow you to move on to the next level.

The upgrade system is complex and it's essential to understand how it works in order to maximize the benefits of your upgrades. The system operates by keeping the experience total in a continuous manner for the component you're upgrading. Each component has either a positive or negative multiplier value, and when the total is at a certain level, it will be reset to zero.

The amount of experience gained by each upgrade component can also be influenced by the item's hidden rank and its multiplier of experience. The items with higher ranks will be more difficult to upgrade while the lower-ranked ones are easier to acquire.

It is essential to remove any fasteners or connections that connect the old part. Keep them in an inventory tray for easy identification and safe-keeping. Connect all wires and cables, and connect the power supply. Then check the computer by switching it on. If everything is connected properly, the computer should boot up normally. This is an essential step to ensure the new hardware will work seamlessly with your existing system.

Glyphs

Glyphs are a fantastic instrument to improve your equipment but you must understand how to utilize it. Each glyph can be used to enhance the substatus and the higher the rank of a glyph, the more powerful it becomes. You can only upgrade a Glyph only once, so make sure you choose wisely. Glyphs are only available only once, and they will vanish after you have used them on an item or artifact.

The most effective symbols are those which increase your chances to roll an affix that is of the desired tier or type. They are typically found on the best weapons and armor, as well as on accessories. They are also available on the Paragon Board and are usually worth the extra effort, however they can be hard to get.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased from the Trading Post. Some glyphs are only available for one-time use and others are permanent. These are great for items that must be re-rolled often. The Glyph of Hope allows you to increase your chances of obtaining an affix you want by enchanting an item.

Certain glyphs may also be used to change existing affixes. This is typically seen on boots, gloves and belts, which are capable of hosting four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, changes the prefix to an experimental affix. This is a useful tool for those who want an affix that is of high-quality in the specified slot or wish to maximize the damage output.

After you reach the age of 50, the game will change dramatically. You'll no longer be able rely on the campaign. Instead, you will be required to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds in order to optimize your build.

The best glyphs are the ones that correspond to your character class for example, the Exploit Glyph that increases the damage dealt to weak enemies. Control Glyph is another good glyph that can increase damage against enemies that are stunned, frozen or slowed. Each glyph has a radius and the radius grows as you upgrade it. This makes glyphs an excellent option to upgrade your gear later in the game.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are upgrade items that allow players to change the attributes of an item. This can be done in the item window by selecting an item and pressing a green button with the arrows that circle. The cost of the reroll is determined by the rarity of the item upgrader.

Reroll tokens are available in the Mystery Box, as a rare drop from skulled creatures or bought from the Trader. They can also be obtained through Event Items or by getting them from other players. They can be used for rerolling rings, armors, and weapons in increments of 2. Each token rerolls allows players to roll for a new attribute which can be either higher or lower than the previous one.

In addition being able to reroll upgrades, the reroll token can also be used to recycle items. Recycling an item gives players a certain amount of points, which will be added to the gauge of level for the item, depending on its popularity. This is a great method to get rid of old equipment that hasn't been upgraded.

The reroll token can also be used to provide new weapon characteristics. These are shown to the player, who is able to decide whether or not. The player is able to offer up to six items at one time and the choices increase as the item's rarity and level increases. This option is accessible via the Upgrade tab on the forge.

Reroll tokens can also be used to reroll the set bonus of an item. It is applied if three or more items from the same set are equipped to a unit. The set bonus only applies to units that belong to the same class, and cannot be applied to units belonging to different classes.

There are a variety of other upgrades in the game that can be rerolled like the recipes. These aren't offered by the shop or rerolling, but are instead transferred to the Non-droppable Pool when players choose an item from the Food Card that requires new Ingredients or equipment. Reroll tokens can be used to reroll these extra bonuses, but the base stats (including all upgrades), and level will remain unchanged.

Leveling

In the game, players have the ability to upgrade their equipment using an item upgrade item. These items can be made by obtaining the required ingredients from NPCs that are upgraders in major cities. Once an item is upgraded, it will get a bonus to its base stats. Certain affixes may also be changed. This could lead to a significant increase in an item's level.

In the upper left corner an icon in blue will appear when the item has been upgraded. The item will also show the number of upgrades that are below its maximum level. The maximum level of the item will rise if there are more upgrades. The player can upgrade an item upgrader mod in as many times as they like. This will allow players to reach gear breakpoints, which increase the reroll chances of certain affixes.

The process involves the purchase of items which are then exchanged by the upgrader NPC to earn currency. Materials used to make the upgrade will be destroyed, however the upgraded item will retain its Item EXP to allow for future upgrades.

Although there isn't a certain way to obtain an Upgrade but it does have a very low chance of falling when spinning Pokestops or Gyms. Players can use an Upgrade to evolve a Porygon into a Porygon2 and consume the item.
