Diablo 4 Item Upgrades

The upgrade of an item allows players to raise the item level for equippable items like trinkets, weapons, and armor over a certain threshold. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.

Upgrade components are slotted into equipment to offer bonus effects and attribute bonuses. Most upgrades are slot-restricted however some are universal.

Rerolling
