Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item upgrades you have acquired, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you require a higher level reroll token.
