Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item upgrader, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment into three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard Best item upgrader. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
