World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players boost the gear rating of an item upgrader mod (chessdatabase.Science) by up 700 points and also give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd for their unique stats (like perfect made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not change significantly after an upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage as well as PvE and PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the weapon will continue to rise until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also reroll the stats of their base. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative effects as well. Upgrades can make items unusable, unless you are very lucky.

Armor items can be upgraded to increase their stats. This will increase the base defense of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it may roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will get when upgraded in addition to their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is possible by pressing the green button in the item menu, using the circling arrows. This will reroll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's level or bind to account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference to your survival. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poison and fire as well as magic. This can make it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the more health you'll receive from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade item your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and to unlock them all, you have to complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. In general, you'll need at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and ten Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, as an example can be upgraded to a +5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid environments with a large number of foes. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to survive a battle with your comrades.

Note that armor can't be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll want to focus on upgrading it to gain physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use for the final boss fight and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also unlock some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have some upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five different types of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded, enhancing the effectiveness of their effects. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Upgrades to potion require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained by crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The upgrade price varies depending on the type of potion and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade items a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP level.

When a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the way potions are used. For instance the splash potions now have a duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds displayed on the item hover display). The table of potion now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. This is the same for using a potion within the cauldron that is filled. This will drain the liquid, and then refill the bottle.

There are also lingering potions that are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It could also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a purpose, but isn't important such as a thimble. In certain cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Trinkets, unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be swapped at will without losing statistics.

The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and the capital of each zone, as well as in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a new trinket. It can be done by the player for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl of the old one, and will include an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Trinkets can be upgraded when the old ones are no longer useful and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are a popular alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondary items and finally, other items of gear will not be replaced soon (for example an earring or cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank, they should be focusing on upgrading their chest, helm, shoulders, and belt.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they are no longer useful and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. Re-upgrading can cause damage to the trinket unless it can be saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing a new one.
