WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item upgrader kit level upgrade (mouse click the up coming document) has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item, however, they are always less expensive than purchasing new gear. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other accessories. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using an button, which will show an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or the crests used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and a chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players complete certain achievements or complete quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are available only through a variety of methods. This is both a positive and a drawback.

In Season 3, the upgrade system has been altered a bit, with some new features added. After a player has earned an upgrade to a certain item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to the same level will be less expensive, even when they belong to a different gear set.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is cut too, but it is only available when certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

Players have a variety of options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific Best item upgrader level upgrades. Crests are an important component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used to purchase equipment that is of a particular rank, and that each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, depending on the type or gear that is being upgraded.

Players can obtain crests by finishing content at the appropriate level, which means walking around and doing outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons to obtain endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan to make. This is especially true for items like trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character that will be able to take advantage of the account-wide discount if all of the slots are full of high-quality gear.
