World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses such as damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will increase 3percent of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must have been at a minimum upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be costly and it is likely that the item upgrader mod will become obsolete, or even break, in the event that the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

In the endgame, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your equipment is to use Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded to level 15 and provide a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values that it can improve a stat by, and the value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs and there are some rare glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus which will boost a specific set of stat nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

The use of a Glyph can boost all nodes that are connected to it, and it is recommended to position your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different amount of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is advanced in level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades the equipment they have, the base item is replaced by the new item. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This can be a downside in that the item could be more expensive even if you don't require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with an initial level and a totally different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful however it shouldn't be done often as it can waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and allowing the player to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants a buff if the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the max roll by a factor of 10. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it can be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

Item upgrading (https://securityholes.science) allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate currency and items to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Each each time you upgrade an item level upgrade, it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state, requiring the player to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned like chances to be crit damage to attack, additional effects (such as increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the user can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item upgrader kit is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its base value. For example, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from standard gear. For example, they may need less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. However, players will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of the ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the cost listed above.
