Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item upgrader mod of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item upgrader kit's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade item process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item level upgrade with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be added in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
