The use of these currencies isn't too difficult, but the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to get their gear up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable modification is that crests have one usage therefore it's essential to use them wisely. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear that you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots.
